  2.        x11perfcomp - X11 server performance comparison program

  4. SYNTAX
  5.        x11perfcomp [ -r | -ro ] [ -l label_file ] files
  6.  
  7. DESCRIPTION
  8.        The  x11perfcomp  program  merges  the  output  of several
  9.        x11perf(1) runs into a nice tabular format.  It takes  the
  10.        results in each file, fills in any missing test results if
  11.        necessary, and for each test shows the objects/second rate
  12.        of each server.  If invoked with the -r or -ro options, it
  13.        shows the relative performance of each server to the first
  14.        server.

  16.        Normally,  x11perfcomp  uses  the  first file specified to
  17.        determine which specific tests it should report on.   Some
  18.        (non-DEC  :)  servers  may  fail to perform all tests.  In
  19.        this case, x11perfcomp automatically substitutes in a rate
  20.        of  0.0  objects/second.   Since the first file determines
  21.        which tests to report on, this file must contain a  super-
  22.        set  of  the  tests  reported  in  the  other  files, else
  23.        x11perfcomp will fail.

  25.        You can provide an explicit list of tests to report on  by
  26.        using  the -l switch to specify a file of labels.  You can
  27.        create a label file by using the -label option in x11perf.

  29. OPTIONS
  30.        x11perfcomp accepts the options listed below:

  32.        -r              Specifies  that  the  output  should  also
  33.                        include relative server performance.
  34.  
  35.        -ro             Specifies that the output  should  include
  36.                        only relative server performance.

  38.        -l label_file   Specifies a label file to use.

  41.        There are no X defaults used by this program.
